On October 1st, 2020, the new environment and climate agreement 2020 was signed by the top representatives of the Bavarian State Government and the Bavarian economy.
The Bavarian Environmental Pact is an agreement between the Bavarian State government and Bavarian business. It is based on voluntariness and cooperation. The Bavarian State government and the Bavarian economy declare their conviction that the natural foundations of life can be better protected with the help of a voluntary and reliable cooperation between the state and the economy than just by ordinances.
